Cal was more than an exceptional leader—he was a mentor, trusted friend, and a giant in the transportation industry. During his remarkable 33-year career with UPS, he earned the respect and admiration of countless colleagues, including many of our Board members who had the privilege of serving alongside him.
As Senior Vice President of U.S. Operations, Cal led with integrity, humility, and vision, impacting the lives and careers of more than 300,000 people. His leadership was defined not only by operational excellence but by his unwavering commitment to developing others and lifting those around him.
His legacy will live on through the many leaders he mentored, the lives he touched, and the values he embodied throughout his distinguished career.
